Duties: Assist with the coordinating and administering translation requirements for the Cornwall and the Ottawa components of the Ontario Service Centre and for Ontario field units with the Translation Bureau of Public Works Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Editing and revising French texts translated by the Translation Bureau and contract translators hired by PWGSC to ensure quality and consistency to the style and terminology used by the Parks Canada Agency. Translating from English to French short or urgent texts and translating changes on texts previously translated: internal documents such as business plans, posters, statements of qualifications, status reports, memos of staff, etc., as well as press releases, special event programs, signs, ceremonies, ministerial responses, souvenir booklets, exhibit texts, newsletters, Internet pages and other texts destined for the public.
